What are Pingala Nadi and Ida Nadi, and what is their significance in day-to-day life?

Ida Nadi: Ida is associated with the feminine or lunar energy (haṭha yoga) and is said to start at the base of the spine (muladhara chakra) and travel up the left side of the body, ending at the left nostril. It is symbolically represented as the moon.

The significance of Pingala and Ida nadis lies in their role in balancing the energy flow within the body.
